Extra Virgin Olive Oil Soaps

Blanchett Olive Oil soaps are handcrafted from cold pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The oil is unprocessed and unrefined to capture the olive oil's full nutrient value. Unlike commercial soap, handmade soap is not a detergent. The oils used in making our soap are used for their specific properties.

Glycerin is a natural bi-product of the soap making process, and is not removed as in commercial soap. Indeed, handcrafted soap is 1/4 glycerin, which is very soothing to the skin.

The herbs, flowers, and grains we use in our soaps are added for their special beneficial qualities to the skin. No artificial colouring is added to the soap, rather, the colours result from the natural ingredients or the addition of a natural colourant such as wheatgrass. Each bar is air-dried for 4 weeks, resulting in milder and longer lasting bars of soap.

All soaps are made with the same base of 95% Extra Virgin Olive oil, Coconut oil, Shea Butter and a very small amount of Beeswax.
